Telehealth practices use live or real time video and sound to connect you with your physician while you are at another location. The telehealth appointment is as private as if you were in the physicians’ office. We use secure software to connect you to the physician. To connect, you need a smartphone, PC or tablet with a working microphone and camera. It is essential we can see and hear each other during the appointment so the physician can adequately discuss your diagnosis and treatment plans with you.
Telehealth can be used for the following services:
1) Patients with existing conditions needing an appointment with the physician for medication refill and review current healthcare plan.
2) Patients who are sick and need their symptoms reviewed with a physician.
3) Patients needing an annual checkup (at the discretion of their provider).
