Atlantis Diagnostics’ two facilities conveniently serve your needs:

  • Palm Bay: 6100 Minton Rd., Suite 100, Palm Bay, FL 32907

Digital Mammography: State of the Art technology at OMNI’s Atlantis Diagnostics together with highly trained staff allows us to offer you Digital Mammography with Computer Aided Detection (CAD). Due to this modern technique, the Radiologist is better able to define micro-calcifications that reduce the biopsy rates. This technology is available in the Melbourne Apollo facility.

Ultrasound: All general Ultrasounds are offered at both Atlantis locations. Note: Cardiovascular Ultrasound Studies, however, are performed solely in the Melbourne Apollo Atlantis location.

PET/CT: Offered at the Melbourne location. This test assists in the diagnosis and treatment of Cancer. PET/CT uses a gamma camera to image a small amount of radioactive glucose (sugar) that is injected into a vein in the arm. Certain cancer cells use glucose (the radioactive sugar) for energy. This procedure shows the radioactive sugar as it is absorbed and distributed in the body’s cancer cells. The CT portion shows a clear “map” of the body structure that the computer fuses with the image of the radioactive sugar cells, hence the location of the cancer in the body is revealed.

CT Scans and CTAs: The 16 Slice CT scanners provide Computed Tomographic Angiography (CTA) which are performed at both the Melbourne and Palm Bay locations along with general CT Imaging. CTA is a less invasive procedure than the standard angiography, making it more patient friendly.

MRI: Offered at the Melbourne location. OMNI’s Atlantis has a State of the Art 1.5 T Siemens Essenza MRI that produces very high quality images. MRI uses a strong magnet to take pictures of the body in any plane. These soft tissue images are very useful in many Specialties such as Neurology, Oncology, and Musculoskeletal Diseases.
